Although it’s our off-season at the moment that doesn’t mean we can’t make the odd trip to one of our favourite workshop locations and as I was making a trip up Wensleydale this month I couldn’t resist a look at Aysgarth Falls.

It had been a sunny afternoon, but as the sun had dipped below the horizon when I arrived the Upper Falls were in lovely open shade which worked well for the waterfall itself, but also gave a nice warm glow to the puddles in the rocks at the side of the river, providing an unusual image.

We’ll be back at Aysgarth for a workshop in March (other dates throughout the year too) so if you’d like to join us for some wonderful waterfall photography then head along to the Aysgarth page on the website!
